With a strong overall background in video processing, software development, and engineering, Miovision's leadership team is currently focused on solving the traffic industry's most pressing problems. Miovision is led by the following executive team:

Kurtis McBride, Chief Executive Officer, Co-founder. A leader in the computer vision field, Kurtis is the driven entrepreneur responsible for Miovision Technologies' sales and technological vision. Prior to conceiving Miovision, Kurtis held positions in product management, product marketing, product development and software design at Nortel Networks and Cypress Semiconductor.

Kevin Madill, Chief Product Officer, Co-founder. As Chief Product Officer for Miovision Technologies Incorporated, Kevin sets the direction for marketing and the development of Miovision’s product lines, with an eye on continually exceeding the demands of customers and the marketplace. Kevin has held positions in product management and marketing at numerous high-tech companies including Sandvine Incorporated, Research In Motion, Cypress Semiconductor and Nortel Networks.

Tony Brijpaul, Director of Operations, Co-founder. Tony is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations with the financial goals of the company. Tony has held positions in product development and software design for high-tech companies such as Visteon Automotive, Siemens Automotive and MacDonald Detwiller Robotics.  Tony graduated from the University of Waterloo with a degree in Systems Design Engineering, focusing specifically in software architecture and product development. Among Tony's career achievements is the development of the first Tablet PC based data collection software for the transportation industry.

Aaron Bast, Controller. As controller, Aaron is responsible for managing the company’s cash flows and delivering quality financial reporting. Aaron has held positions in public accounting at Ernst & Young LLP and Stern Cohen LLP where he provided both accounting and taxation advice to a number of clients varying in size from start-ups to large public companies.  Aaron is a Chartered Accountant and also holds a degree in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Tomas Benda, Director of Engineering. As Director of Engineering, Tomas is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of Miovision’s hardware and software products. Tomas manages all stages of product development, including quality assurance. Tomas has a degree in Computer Science with an Option in Software Engineering from the University of Waterloo. Tomas’ career includes positions at other engineering firms, including local startup AideRSS.
