Traffic Impact Analysis for Growing Cities

Proposal: Adopt the efficiencies of a roundabout with a new type of sign, a TED Talk by Gary Lauder

In the TED Talk, Gary Lauder's new traffic sign: Take Turns, Lauder points out that roundabouts are great, but not always applicable. For example, a T-Intersection may not warrant a signal or roundabout, so stop signs are installed. The problem is that all cars must stop before proceeding, regardless of whether there's a car waiting on the minor road or no approaching cars on the major road.

Lauder suggests a new type of traffic sign that will help to increase flow at these types of intersections. Check out his TED Talk in today's post!
